day in whistler

we spent a lovely day in whistler attending the farmer's market and hanging out at the lake.  we haven't been to these mountains in the summertime for a long while now.  if it weren't for kai, we may still not have spent the day here.  kai was curious about what whistler looked like in the summer since he has only ever been in the winter, many, many winters!  and so, to entertain his curiosity we packed up the car with a few essentials like sunscreen and swimsuits and headed to whistler.  i am so glad we did, it was the perfect day!

 

the farmer's market:

they don't look very appetizing, i must admit, but they are the best veggie cabbage rolls!

atla lake was frigid cold.  kai was the only one that dared put on his swimsuit and go for a swim!
