weekend pics

it was a quiet weekend folks.  there were a number of events going on in the city this weekend that i thought i would try to attend - the autumn shift festival on main street, greenpeace's 40th anniversary at jericho park, and a walking art tour at granville island.  unfortunately i wasn't feeling well this weekend and i missed all of these.  instead, i was a homebody.  it's amazing how quickly time whiles away when you are not doing much.  it seemed i spent most of saturday doing laundry, folding, and ironing.  and our kitchen sink needs a plumber so doing the dishes in the bathroom was interesting!  but i also made sure to while away some  time reading through my pile of magazines.  i did manage to leave the house in the mornings for my bikram yoga classes (sweat out the germs in my body) but that was all i could manage this weekend.

stefan and kai managed to have more fun. they lunched at thomas, played a game of soccer, watched a movie (the first harry potter, they finished reading the book and have begun to read book number 2), kai also sent some thank you cards. and today kai attended a birthday party at a bowling alley. 

 

oh, i did get my potato and leek soup! it was yum as always, thank you stefan!
