crafty (sort of)

last night while kai was at circus school and stefan running errands, i had the task of decorating kai's bike helmet and bike for sport's day which is happening today.  i resorted to last year's idea, twist ties on the helmet but this time i managed to create a 'mohawk' (a definite improvement) and more twist ties on the bike.  simple and easy but time consuming.  i am not the craftiest mom but thankfully kai doesn't hold it against me.  he thinks his helmet is "cool".

i took the day off work to volunteer for sport's day and then to spend the rest of the afternoon with kai (school ends at 1pm tomorrow).  i think we will bike to the beach; it's another gorgeous day in vancouver!
