a bawdy romp, mistaken identities, and much more

i bought season's tickets to the arts club again this year. it was such fun to attend plays i never would have attended otherwise but enjoyed immensely... each and every one was great.  but i did have my favourites... penelopaid and the calendar girls.  every so often a friend would join me which made the evening out all the better.

this year, i have already attended clybourne park.  it was a funny and fiercely provocative play about race, real estate, gender.  and i am looking forward to avenue q.  i first saw it when i visited new york a few of years ago with a girlfriend.  i was resistant, i was in new york for the first time and didn't want my first new york theatre experience to include puppets.  puppets?!  how wrong i was... it was spectacular and funny and awesome.  can't wait to see it again.
