weekend pics - mayne island, part one

my birthday is always the best excuse to hit the road out of town.  i love the idea of an autumn road trip to one of the gulf islands - last year we visited galiano island (see here and here) - for crisp island air, nature galore, and some r&r.  this year we went to mayne island.

my full weekend pics post is coming tomorrow.  until then, here are a few sweet shots taken during our little hike along the campbell point trail - part of the gulf island national reserve and accessible from our beach home via a short walk along the beach on bennett bay.
