the gluten free epicurean

the gluten free epicurean was such a sweet little café to come by.  a few weeks back, the lovely patrycja and i stopped in for a snack and we decided on a salted chocolate chip cookie and some juice.  nothing too fancy but oh. my. goodness. that cookie was glorious and gluten free.

the space is small and cozy.  the gluten free epicurean is tucked away on a little stretch of east 15th along with collage collage, a great crafts shop/workshop for the kiddos, spool of thread, a sewer's dream lounge with machines for hire, lovely patterned fabrics to buy and a helping hand if needed, matchstick, a hip coffee shop that roasts their own coffee, and les faux bourgeois bistro, a cute and delicious french restaurant.  it's a happening little street so if you find yourself in the area be sure to check it out.

the menu at the gluten free epicurean includes an array of sweet and savoury treats and they have take-away pies, dough, and other goodness.  i have heard wonderful things about their apple fritters so i think a re-visit is in order soon.

oh, and a little side note:  i am out with the lovely patrycja this evening to attend the circle craft fair if she hasn't delivered her little dude yet (due date was yesterday)... so exciting.
