i woke up today as a mama to a teen! it seems surreal that this day is here, this day that kai has been hoping would arrive sooner than later. how ever much i long for him to be a babe in my arms again i am so excited for him to explore, love and grow during these teen years. he's been my favorite boy for thirteen years and i look forward to many more.
to celebrate, we had a party for him yesterday with his friends and ours. and lucky boy, family too... oma and opa came over!
oh, and this is us... on our way to a steak dinner, a birthday tradition.
