stockholm weekend pics, koloni saltsjö duvnäs

koloni saltsjö duvnäs is a simple cafe off the beaten track... just the way we like it.  it's always an effort to get to these places without a car but so worth it.  after taking the bus for 30 minutes and then walking along forest trails, we discovered yet another suburb of stockholm - saltsjö duvnäs is home to big homes with lake views and bentleys in the driveway.

the cafe is a cozy spot serving delicious - and expensive - organic food.  the atmosphere is lovely with garden seating, apple trees, and the cutest little birds at home in the bushes.  it used to be the home of a painter and sculptor by the name of olle nyman and some of the space is used to exhibit the artists' work. it never ceases to amaze me just how many of these places we have

and then the shenanigans broke out. those white berries pictured below are great for throwing.  the three of us had such fun... throwing, running, laughing, over and over.  warning, many pics of my boys follow!

finally i got them to pose for a pic!

did you have a lovely autumn weekend?
