the invitation was simple. come over for thanksgiving dinner. sleep over, we'll walk in the forest, there's a christmas market in nycleviken. but, of course, it was more.
we take silly photos, we get the table ready for a fabulous dinner - wonderfully prepared turkey, pumpkin salad, mash, and caramelized shallots too :-) oh, and the stuffing is the best ever.
we laugh when a swede shares she googles american thanksgiving tips and shows up wearing her "fat pants". and then dessert is served... pecan pie and pumpkin pie!
waking up to snow and after a most lovely breakfast we head out to nyckelviken... through the forest and along the water, we arrive at our first holiday market of the season.
i am incredibly grateful for this beautiful family... love you guys!
