walked over to skeppsholmen - about a 30 minute walk along the water and across two bridges - to visit the food truck market but alas there was no such market; trying to figure out how we got it wrong, on closer inspection we noticed the last time they updated their facebook page was 2015! so, instead, we tried hjerta restaurant right by the water. it was our first visit since we usual go to the hotel skeppsholmen for food.
hjerta's food hit the spot, there was mackerel (stefan is obsessed with this fish), the plum tomatoes with artichoke was so delicious, and the black bread was just too good, we asked for seconds. very happy, especially with the added sunshine and aperol spritz :)

gamla stan love... i could photograph these cobblestone streets for always. we made a stop here to visit the science fiction bookstore. still too many tourists around, can't wait until they go ;)
caffeine and pastries at fabrique... flat white for him and kardemummabullar for her and the little one (can i still refer to kai as the little one???).
