glamping in the desert and chillin' in the sand dunes :)
the magical stillness of the desert and the beauty of a million shades of rippled orange, brown, red and gold sand... we could be forgiven for thinking we stepped into an authentic arabian experience.
we camped out in a handmade bedouin tent among the drifting sand dunes with desert nights camp. we had a large bed, cotton bedding, and arabian rugs. kai and stefan went dune-bashing on quad bikes while i hung out with the camels and sought shade.
with no night pollution, the night sky is a majestic sight. the bedouin tribes, who still live their traditional lifestyles in this picture-perfect desert region, sure are lucky.
stefan woke up one year older in the desert!
