kai: ink love on boy's hand

stockholm weekend pics, february

february was a quiet month. it was always two of us and one of us. for almost a month, between my visit home and stefan's work travel, it was never the three of us.

i cook from minimalist baker when it's just kai and i. her recipes are easy to follow and always turn out deliciously. kai doesn't seem to mind the vegetarian fare.

using boy brow, which i picked up at glossier while in new york. i'm not sure about micro-blading but i do love full brows so boy brow has been good.

a chai mix has been on high demand in my house: a teaspoon of ground spices (cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, black pepper, nutmeg, and cloves) mixed with a tablespoon of maple syrup and about two cups of almond milk. pour through a strainer into your favourite mug, heat and enjoy.

lately, kai is loki's favourite. our cat craves human contact, constantly.

tulips and chocolate cake, a hostess gift from kai's friend who comes over for dinner and a sleepover.

read i'll give you the sun and i plan to read it again with kai. it is one of the best books i've read in a loooong time. the writing is beautiful, the story familiar with wonder and romance, characters real. you have to read this book, my february was made all the better for this one. thanks ximena :)

i hope the cat was found and safely returned.

the perfect bowl, by an artist following his dreams, arrived with stefan when he returned from his work travel, gifted by a beautiful friend.

when it was the three of us again, a few short days later we were in the italian alps, a perfect little trip to regroup and enjoy.

all else? a cup of tea constantly by my side, binging netflix (russian doll, bodyguard, sex education), a soccer ball dribbled around indoors, a pile of laundry always in need of attention, and blue sky days.

i hope your february was good to you, quiet or not.
