in our own 'backyard': a morning run along the water followed by an afternoon stroll. blooming cherry blossoms under clear and sunny skies. but oh so cold days. lunch date at indian street food cafe. ending with a lazy evening at home.

bliss, i'd say.

stockholm weekend pics, in a swedish backyard (part 1)

in this backyard: sparkling sake enjoyed. pizzas on the bbq devoured. mini marshmallows on an open fire. smoke in our hair and warmed with blankets too. wood chopped. tiramisu gobbled up. lots of laughter.

this is a story of a girl who bakes bread. ximena has been pulling from her oven all sorts of bread... made from her own bread starter that she feeds and cares for like a baby. i don't know what's come over her but i can tell you that while i have yet to taste her homemade bread, that sour dough pizza crust was to die for. i hope this isn't a phase, i hope that she never stops baking bread.

this is also a story of a girl who used her 50mm lens to take these pics. it was frustrating not being able to zoom in and out but i think with some more practise these photos of mine will improve. until then, this is what i have... enjoy!
