jagoda's jewellery

last week i went to a jewellery party hosted by a good friend, patrycja, and her sister gosia.  it was their second annual party but this time they invited the designer to join the festivities.  their talented mom, jagoda, turned her passion into a business.  she began making jewellery 5 years ago and is now teaching courses on the subject.  pretty cool, yes?

jagoda makes fantastic pieces.  everything was hand-crafted and well-made...like little works of art in the form of necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings and even bookmarks (kai purchased one with his own money).  unfortunately she doesn't yet have a website but you can contact her at jagodadesigns@live.ca for further details.

her collection this year was comprised of silver, amber (from poland), and copper.  i bought a silver bracelet which i know i will wear often because i bought a similar one last year.  what i love about this one is that it's asymmetrical and the round silver discs that dangle are perfect.

i first met jagoda at patrycja's wedding last year. i can't help but share a photo of the gorgeous bride - kai adores her and i am lucky enough to have her as a friend!
