the infinity scarf...

i had been looking for an infinity scarf for kai but to no avail, this was a couple of years ago now.  i liked the idea of an infinity scarf because it seemed like a more practical choice to keep my little guy warm through the winter months.  when i couldn't find what i was looking for i asked my mother if she would knit one for kai.  i don't think it's too much of an exaggeration to say that it is always commented on... at the playground, the grocery store, just walking down the street.  so i have had the idea to design/manufacture my mom's infinity scarf (using organic cottons and wools) right here in vancouver.  and then sell to boutique shops, at portobello market and maybe even have my own etsy shop.  i never made it happen.

and then i just recently came across this adorable brand, cabbages and kings.  they basically 'stole' my idea, well, not really but you know what i'm saying, right?  they have very cool options to choose from and support communities in peru... it's a pretty awesome business model.  i love the colours and patterns too, don't you?

surely there is room for another brand of infinity scarf.  any knitters out there?
