guinea pigs

over the weekend kai and i had fun looking after a couple of very cute three month old guinea pigs.  of course, kai has now been asking for guinea pigs for his birthday!  i think stefan is leaning towards wanting them too but i am not so sure... they live a very long time, they require a huge cage and we live in a little house, and i am holding out for a dog (stefan will change his mind about getting a dog... surely).
 
but the guinea pigs sure were cute and cuddly...
