weekend pics. gorgeous fall weather and good food/friends

despite having to work half the weekend, it was all sorts of lovely:  gorgeous fall weather, a stroll around the neighbourhood (new shops to browse), spending time with the hubby while kai is mountain biking (breakfasting and wandering in the woods), an afternoon hanging out with and eating a lot of delicious polish food courtesy of the lovely patrycja, and playing board games (i love to pass time playing board games).  hope you had a splendid weekend too.

 

 

 

 

 





 

patrycja - pictured with her hubby above - is amazing in every single way and the foodie goodness that comes out of her kitchen is pure pleasure.  her pickle soup was to. die. for.  i couldn't get enough of those yummy perogies.  the apple pie, a favourite dessert of mine, was perfection.  a few hours at her house and you leave stuffed, happy, and totally spoiled.  thank you my friend.
