stockholm weekend pics, värmdö, part one

it was a great long weekend.  rocky coastline, fresh air, springtime sprinkling of snow, chic farm stay, cute animals, invigorating hikes in a fairy-tale forest setting... just some the things we experienced this weekend in värmdö.  truly, i didn't want to come home.  our stay in värmdö has me dreaming of moving the three of us to the archipelago for our second year of living in stockholm. 

the farm, siggesta gard, is such a gem.  we stayed in one of the rooms of the manor but had the whole place to ourselves.  we breakfasted, fika-ed and dined in the stables.  we roamed the grounds playing mini golf (thanks kai for convincing us to play!), the boys played on the forestry obstacle course (kai's favourite), and we held little chicks.  siggesta gard is a kids and adults wonderland and it's actually not too far from home so, of course, we (kai!) are planning a day trip back in the summer.

and, i organized a little easter egg hunt for my chocolate fiend boys...
