the gröna lund made for a sweet celebration on ending school and starting summer vacation. i enjoy amusement parks with it's warm weather colours, people watching, funny characters on stilts, the feel of summer and excitement in the air. i spent a weekday, last week, at the amusement park with kai and livia... walking the park, eating cotton candy, spending too much money trying to win a stuffie, and riding the swing carousel (an absolute childhood favourite). it was busy and fun to hang out with these kiddos. i always leave amusement parks happy, tired and thinking about my dad.

gröna lund is located on the edge of djurgarden island, where my favourite greenhouse cafe, rosendal tradgard sits prettily, offering wonderful views of neighboring islands, sodermalm, gamla stan and skeppholmen...
here's to more fun filled sunny days :)
