1. gorgeous corn from the farmer's market.
2. with a computer fast in full swing the hot wheels were brought out of hiding.
3. stefan made a big pot of chili for dinner with toasted ancho and minced chipotles, this recipe, from cook's illustrated, is so perfect for autumn dinners.
4. cat paws :)
5. treated myself to a couple of magazines, kinfolk and traveler and the latter has me dreaming of warm weather climates.
6. stamps for decorating birthday prezzies (kai attended two birthday parties!)
7. cleaning out kai's closet and making piles to donate, to sell, to toss.
8. time for candlelight.
