started the weekend on kungsholmen island, browsing delicacies at local favourite taylor and jones and then around the corner at wijnjas for cheeses (they also have a wine and cheese restaurant around the corner). i especially love stockholm's colours - muted and soft yellows and reds and oranges. even on a grey day, it can be bright.
hellas...
skating on hellasgården was meh... the top of the ice was melted and therefore wet, kai's skates pinched (he's growing too fast), and the wind made it feel like it was -20 on the lake. after an hour we made our way over to storstugan to warm up and eat. we always avoided this restaurant in the past as it seemed everyone had nothing good to say about it. but, under new ownership, the food is soooo good. if you are visiting or live here, go to hellasgården to frolic in nature and eat at storstugan... your welcome :)
