travelogue: paris with suji

it was a pinch me moment, strolling around paris with suji, a very special lady.  she came in from vancouver, canada to spend some quality time together.  it was lovely.  i can't believe it actually happened, i'm still on a high from the whole trip.

there was pain au chocolat, shopping (lots of it!), and wine on repeat.  oh, and a macaron class too.  guys, i made macarons! upon arrival at home, my boys devoured them alongside pierre hermé macarons :)

café lounging in cute places and in typical parisian places... les philosophes, les deux magotsbreizh cafe, le fer à cheval, and angelina.  some of my favourite dishes included salade de chevres chaud, tartare, saumon fumé avec tapenade de tomates séchées, and a gorgeous galette.

walks through rue montoguiel, le marais and its neighbour, place des vosges (where we were staying), the tullieries gardens, and st. germain picking up treats along the way... merci paris pierre hermé, kusmi tea, odette, and adorable children shops, like petit bateau and smallable, for suji's little boy.

art at musée picasso and seeing la seine fat and overflowing (what a sight!).  there was a peek at eiffel too and i spotted a dog carrying a baguette :)

la seine is fat!

it's always a good idea to eat cream puffs, éclairs, buttery pastries and meet up with your girlfriend in paris!  thank you suji for making the journey (insert heart emoji here).

btw, the sardines in the pretty packaging from breizh cafe are delicious; stefan and i just tried the chinese spiced ones.  delish!
