sacha moved house and had a housewarming party... she moved next door to a gorgeous lake so we took advantage and went for a swim.
these expats... how lucky have i been to meet such beautiful people! they introduce you to their favourite cafe and restaurants, and bottles of wine. they hold your hand on bad days. they accept you into their world with open arms.
since this housewarming, one has left onto new adventures and another will leave next year - the life of an expat - and while my heart already aches at the thought, i remember i am/was lucky enough to have the time together.
but sacha isn't going anywhere... she bought a house, has a smoker (it produced really delicious pulled meats), and settling in nicely. woo-hoo :)
