i covet...

when i was in toronto, i came across a line of jewelery from noir jewelry that i wish i was brave enough to wear.  one of their lines is in collaboration with dc comics and i am loving their wonder woman rings.  i think it's because of kai that i would even consider wearing such a ring - it's fun and i think he'd love it if i bought and actually wore it.  

also, i enjoyed watching wonder woman as a girl.  i loved how when evil came knocking, diana (played by linda carter) would spin to transform into wonder woman, armed with a magic belt giving her superheroine strength, bracelets that could stop bullets, a tiara that could be used as a weapon, and a lasso that could force anyone to tell the truth.  she was definitely a feminist role model, even if i didn't know it at the time.  she was even on the cover of ms in the early 1970s.  i digress, what do you think about the rings?  i am leaning towards the star cluster ring.

also from memories of the past are these shaka bracelets.  if you are old enough then you must remember making these as a girl.  i love the extra long ones so you can wrap it around your wrist once before clasping. the braided cuff is very pretty.

noir jewelery also has lines dedicated to pirates of the caribbean, barbie, disney, animals, and others. here are a few that i like (if only the elephant was not pink!).
