i love this living room.  bright and colourful.  it belongs to hanna bastin, an interior designer/painter who lives in stockholm.  i have that same pineapple lamp.  and, those lucky clover pillows are from house of rym, a shop "where contemporary scandinavian design and ancient tunisian handcrafts fall head over heels. in love."  house of rym employs five swedish designers who have their creations produced in tunisia and the result is love at first sight... 

their dishes and textiles are my favourite things...

after last weekend's adventure, staying home just seems mediocre, especially when it's consumed with school work, errands, and chores.  but i guess these kinds of weekends are necessary in order to appreciate the adventurous and fun ones even more.  at the same time though, the weekend was easy and relaxing... i didn't mind at all.

    

  

  

  

  

  

  

row 1: kai's school work, stefan's morning ritual, the most delicious bread from farbrique
row 2: stopped in for a kardemummabullar (cardamom bun) from johan and nystrom while running errands and a tasty pasta dish with anchovy butter and broccoli that stefan cooked up 
row 3-6: a sunny and frosty stroll with stefan while kai was at soccer (pics might be familiar, take a peek)
row 7: selma treat from cafe chic konditori and a quick stop in bric-a-brac (a new favourite stop)

wish i would take risks with wallpaper, love the pattern in this home. and those brass knobs on the kitchen cabinets are perfect.  and the french doors opening up to a cute little patio is so lovely. and those 4x4 pale green kitchen tiles add to the brightness of the space.  if you are wondering, this adorable townhouse is located in gothenburg, sweden.  i found it when perusing the owners blog, take a peek.
