julbord at hellasgården with ximana, petter and the girls. the christmas buffet here is my favourite one. while the cabin, the owners, and the location make it pretty ideal, the christmas buffet here is top notch. local ingredients prepared with love. i usually eat too much smoked salmon and marinated herring! the meatballs are good too :)
with the depleating light, it was nice that rosendals trädgård celebrates it with a beautiful fire dance and fancy hotdogs in the garden.
this place is a real gem, located on djurgarden which is a beautiful location on its own. perusing the cafe, garden and bakery shops, spread across different greenhouses, is a must. they use organic and local ingredients, of which many come from their own garden. and in their garden shop you can find unique items. in the spring and summer, you can gather flowers from their fields creating your own bouquet and have fika sitting on the grass in their orchard. in the winter, you can sit outside with a blanket if you can't find sitting inside. it is a popular place.
