saturday was a stay at home kind of day but we ventured out on sunday to one of my favourite places. we were at rosendals trädgård and in addition to the amazing food, i am always stuck by the impact of its location. greenhouses scattered about, art exhibition going on, and the little details too like the simple arrangements on the tables. it's a reminder that you don't need much to bring a little beauty to your day.
their plant shop carries a beautiful collection of pots and vases and lovely vignettes to admire, all in their airy greenhouse. another greenhouse housed the flora supersum exhibition; gorgeous photographs depicting the beauty of extinction... plants after flowering and seed heads, capsules and pods. the farm-shop bakes their own bread in the wood burning oven (they use birch!) and we brought ourselves home a loaf accompanied by the best almond cookies.
rosendals trädgård is a personal favourite, let them impress you too. if you live in stockholm or are visiting, visit them!
the ferry ride to and from always seems special, like you're on a little holiday. i just love it here... i never thought i would say that back in november of 2014. and thanks for looking, it was alot of photos.
hope you had a wonderful weekend too.
