heading back to nova scotia we took the longer scenic route along the gorgeous south coast.
sherbrooke, once a booming town thanks to gold found in the area, feels like it's literally in the middle of nowhere, yet stefan finds beanie's bistro which not only serves good coffee but the food was fantastic.
the coast was impressive, passing through unassuming villages, abandoned boats on the side of the road and stretching our legs on a windswept beach.
then we are in peggy's cove again... without all the tourists :)
our little cottage, so cute. |
