kai's obsession with symmetry |
with darkness and rain for days, very little sunlight, then the arrival of -8 degree celsius temperatures, our november weekends were quite cozy in the company of friends, good food and music too.
stopped by the coffee festival although i'm not sure why i was there when it's stefan and kai who are the coffee drinkers. amazed at the connoisseur that kai is becoming, detecting flavours in the different coffee he was trying.
new shoes for all three of us! |
ate a lovely greek dinner at despina's place surrounded by great people. there was moussaka, spanakopita, and lamb chops too. i am beyond grateful to have despina in my life. she actually made millefeuille, just because she knew it's a favourite of mine (insert heart emoji). it was such a lovely night, i want to do it all over again.
twice, with work colleagues, i ate at eat east, an authentic chinese restaurant in the city. guys, it was so good.
and then there was the slow roasted pork at our neighbours... i pigged out. the flavouring was perfect, the hot sauce not too hot not too weak, and the juice from the roasting poured onto the rice was just too good. then, dessert - sliced up mango and jellied coconut on top of vanilla ice cream might not sound delicious but, believe me, it was that and more.
this isn't the slow cooked pork, i don't have a photo... instead this is ramen noodles with duck, equally delicious! |
wearing my gifted heart socks... little things that put a big smile on my face :)
hanging out with ximena at soultrain - a friday night for 35+ year olds enjoying the 80s! there was even swedish 80s :)
