cozy at home opening presents, playing civilization again and again, watching movies (love actually!), eating and eating... on christmas day, stefan cooked a feast of roast pork cooked for hours, janssen tempation potato dish, brussel srpouts sprinkled with parmessan and a green salad

julbord in the woods.  i love the traditional swedish christmas buffet!  there's swedish meatballs, pickled herring, salmon, jansson's temptation (scalloped potatoes with anchovies), gingerbread cookies, glögg, meats and salads, cheeses and much more.

lots of restaurants offer a christmas buffet, we've been to one for each year living in stockholm. storstugan is by far our favourite... a friendly chef, trees and a lake, a fireplace to lounge by after dinner, and just really good food.

our christmas weekend!

with holidays in full swing, we've slowed down, cozy at home watching holiday movies and playing board games (santa left us a few new ones), forest walks in the cold, and still eating way too much, our bellies are full!.  

i am so grateful to not have to be anywhere but here, with my boys.
