rosy cheeks

i never wore blush until very recently.  i have always liked the rosy cheeks that comes from biting winds and walks in the cold; all of a sudden you look fresh and healthy.  with my summer colouring long gone, i am looking pale and sickly so i thought since i have been stepping out of the box recently (getting bangs! buying cords!) i thought i'd give some rouge a try.  the lovely woman at benefit was very helpful and i walked away with, i think, the perfect rosy cheek inducing blush... mata hari blush by nars is a mix of pink and crimson that gives me that flushed cheeks look. 

this would make a perfect stocking stuffer, don't you think?
