stockholm weekend pics

this weekend we stayed close to home hanging out on sodermalm and the little island of skeppsholmen (a 10 minute bike ride away) enjoying the beautiful crisp fall weather.

on sodermalm, the three of us went for fika at drop coffee, ate at taylor and jones, came across a design market, and meandered along the water and up on top of the cliffs.  it was a lovely little outing.

on skeppsholmen, kai and i met up with our friends ximena and the girls to lunch at matholmen, the food truck market.  and did we eat well! the churrasco food truck was so awesome... grilled steak served on a bun along with green beans, avocado, tomato, and aioli.  kai devoured his pulled pork sandwich.  it was the last day the food trucks would converge on the island so we'll have to be patient for next summer.  another favourite place on the island is the skeppsholmen hotel, where we warmed up with a cup of tea/hot chocolate while the kiddos had fun running around outdoors.
