sleeping in was definitely in order. cozy on the sofa watching a new to us series 'the big bang theory' (loving it!), reading, and playing a new board game, robinson crusoe.
venturing out, we played laserdome; it was so fun i think i want to host my kai's birthday party there! we ate spring rolls and mango salad at celine's one night and on another we celebrated ximena's birthday with dinner at rutabaga, a new vegetarian place followed by cocktails at pharmarium. there was a bbq lunch reconnecting with this lovely couple and a rainbow cake too (thanks cecelia). and after reading about a new noodle bar, ai ramen, we braved the winter cold and dug into some hearty dishes.
i like these looooong weekends, so much goodness can be packed into them. more please.
