knots!  i remember looking for a sailor knot alot when shopping, this is many years ago. then i gave up.  i found this image here which jogged my memory.  with my wedding anniversary coming up, i think the search is on again.  our friend, the gorgeous and funny coco, made our wedding invitation using the knot symbol.
