just in case stefan is sent off to london or the states for work again (which is inevitable), i purchased 'the i hate to cook cookbook' by Peg Bracken. it's the 50th anniversary addition. astonishing that such a book was published at a time when married women were expected to put a meal on the table for their families. this cookbook promises "quick, simple meals that took minimal effort but would still satisfy." i will let you know how it works out for me!
