row 1-2, a walk through downtown on a gorgeous spring day. looking up and marveling at the beauty. it can sometimes feel like we are living in a postcard.
row 3, it was so lovely to spend time with new friends to celebrate the birthday of one of kai's friends. the kiddos played in the park and ate pizza. the adults munched on delicious macedonian foods, in particular i need the recipe to that birthday cake (think coconut and chocolate goodness)! aleksandra (aka, the mama to april), was the hostess with the mostess, she is gracious, smart, and funny. i look forward to spending more time with her.
row 4, kai played soccer and his team had their first win!
row 5-8, kai's soccer matches often take us to places we haven't yet explored. this weekend it was fisksätra, and just north, over a bridge, was the littlest woodland island that lured me over. walking around it and through it, it was a pretty nice spot (thankfully the rain stayed away until we were on the train heading home again).
