i finished work yesterday, which means summer break begins, woohoo!
it was a gorgeous weekday, so stefan and i took the ferry into town. i will never tire of being on the water, with these views!
we lunched at kavalleriet, just a skip and hop from where the ferry drops you off, up the street from the opera house. they always have delish salads, which i highly recommend. while they have a cozy interior, we opted to sit outside, happily munching away on my räksallad, a traditional shrimp salad.
we shopped at svenskt tenn (another josef frank pillow came home with me) and strolled the city streets.
in the evening, we dined at nya carnegie bryggeriet, the brewery down the water from us. i stuck with the seafood theme and ordered a lobster roll. my favourite drink is their champagne beer, so good!
sometimes, i have to pinch myself that i live here, surrounded by water, good food, and beautiful views.
