indian street food, which i have probably already written about here on the blog, is one of our favourite neighbourhood restaurants. it's a lovely walk along the canal, plenty of outdoor seating, and then when stuffed with food, the boat takes us back.
i always alternate between the same dishes - mumbai samosas, golden goan achari prawns, chicken chettinad - and i would encourage you to try these too. they are full of flavour, perfectly spicy and just eye-rolling good.
the cutest, mamma feeding her babe! |
since we are mostly home for the summer this year, stefan bought himself a bbq and has been cooking up a storm: flatbread, skewers, salmon on a cedar plank, and slow-roasted ribs too!
in other news... i woke up to dropping flower petals and even on their last legs, they are beautiful (love finding small happy moments). i am currently obsessed string shelving and kai and his dad were being handy, hanging up a new one - and nothing went wrong, yay! the cats napping where they shouldn't be (loki can get a little too friendly with the sheepskin).
hope you had a lovely relaxing weekend too!
