golden kiwi

i was super excited to find golden kiwis at the market!  they are mostly available in the summer, coinciding with the new zealand winter.  they are so very good that i don't care that they are grown far, far away and hence cost more.  golden kiwis have a yellow flesh and are sweeter and less tart than a standard kiwi, tropical-like.  i eat them in droves until they are no longer available.  if you haven't already tried one please do so this summer.  you. will. love. it.  i promise.
